Collecting a pot pourri from your garden over the summer

This pot pourri needs to start with a lot of dried lavender from last year – this is good because I have a bag of dried lavender I keep to make lavender bags for presents. However , the idea I heard today is that you start with a big bowl of lavender and add a few fragrant flowers and herbs each week over the summer.
